The highway crews came through and marked where the road would come through. We're loosing 20 meters / 65.5 feet off the front of the school and church. The guy in the orange vest stands on the spot. Sad part is that we're close to the bridge so we'll lose 10 meters more, so when they replace the bridge they'll have enough room to bypass it during it's construction.
We'll have to relocate the new office soon.
The good news is we have about a year before we need to move and cut down the trees.
They're also to assess the value to our loss and compensate us a little. They'll pay my father in-law for the lost trees and fence we hope.
There are a lot of people in our village losing their homes.
